Schools
Give your ākonga the opportunity to step back in time and experience learning as it was in the late 19th century.
Our hands-on education programmes are designed to support a range of curriculum areas while immersing students in an authentic historical environment. Through interactive activities, ākonga will discover what school life was like in the past, from following a traditional timetable to taking part in old-fashioned lessons with real learning outcomes.
Learning at Firth Tower is both educational and fun. Students enjoy experiencing the structure, discipline and daily routines of a bygone era while gaining a deeper understanding of New Zealand's history and heritage.
Firth Tower provides a unique setting to explore our history. We encourage ākonga to appreciate the value of living in a bicultural society, while also recognising the many cultures that contribute to the rich diversity of Aotearoa New Zealand today.
